Crafting Meet up

When I meet with my craft group, we usually bring an in progress project. We decided to all work on the same thing and work from Mary's stash of supplies. Wonderful idea!

I have not been crafting. What the heck? I have been creating embellishments for friends gifts. But nothing really for myself. My stash is disorganized and a mess. I saw a paper craft segment on HSN. Anna Griffin mainly. There was a guy w an envelope maker thing. That was cool. He had these Envelope wraps that were very cool. The label wrapped from the from to around the back. That really inspired me to try something different.

Inspiration

I was inspired to create again. I have coinstructed a mini scrapboof from envelopes. I have the construction and the base paper all together. Looks good- Excited to get the photos and scraps from my brother (who the album is for) then I will do the magic. :)

Grandma's Birthday Gift

This was a fun project...it started with a "Make it in an hour" kit from WAL-MART. I think Grandma will enjoy the finished book. PS- it took much more than an hour...but I am not complaining because the project is done! :)

this calendar has been fun to work on...I love looking at January! funny pugs. I admit it is hard to focus lately...I have a while til June. Here's to birthdays in May!

For Christmas niece Rachel gave me a sweet memory calendar. She started it...lined up all the months w dates etc and basic paper on the scrap portion...I needed to do the rest. So, with the paper & embelishments provided and my stash...I have finished 4 months, I am working on the others. Merry Christmas! and here is to a great running start on the New Year! 2010!
